The Taiwan International Science Fair (TISF) is an annual science competition for high school students organized by the National Taiwan Science Education Center. It features projects from students both in Taiwan and around the world, serving as a major platform for young scientists to present their research, participate in workshops, and engage in cultural exchanges. The event includes project presentations, workshops, and tours, and is a significant event in Asia’s science education landscape.
Team Pakistan at TISF 2026
With just five finalists from Pakistan participating, two Pakistani teenagers Ajar Aleem and Aimen Shehzad from Beaconhouse School System, Canal Side Girls Campus, Lahore managed to snag third position with a cash award, winner certificates and medallions at the Grand Awards Ceremony of the TISF 2026. While the other three finalists Areesha Ahmed, Izza Mehboob and Roshni Kheem Chand from Aga Khan Higher Secondary School and College, Karachi also got two fourth positions and an appreciation certificate in their respective categories.
Team Pakistan at TISF 2025
The year 2025 also saw Pakistani students win accolades for their hard work. Students of Aitchison College, Lahore – Rafay Ataullah and Lajawar Jamal presented their project in computer science category and won third position getting winner certificates, medallions and cash award.
Team Pakistan at TISF 2024
A delegation comparising of four students represented Pakistan at the Taiwan International Science Fair for the first time. Zohaib Khan and Rana Shayan from Beaconhouse School System, Valencia Town Campus, Lahore presented their project in computer science category, while Syed Irteza Raza Mashidi from Scarsdale International School, Lahore participated in engineering category, as Ayesha Kanwal from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Wassanpura, Lahore presented her project in plant sciences, all winning fourth place awards in their respective subject categories.
